Joining the BANKERS’ BANK staff are:Catherine Bryant — First Vice President
Bryant has an extensive background working with Illinois and Indiana banks in fixed-income securities sales, investment safekeeping and operations. Most recently, in the role of senior vice president, she managed IBB’s safekeeping department.
Matthew A. Coppola — Vice President
Coppola is an experienced commercial credit officer and correspondent lender working with a diverse client base in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Michigan. His work experience includes purchase and sale of loan participations, holding company loans and officer and director loans at IBB and as a commercial credit analyst for Merrill Lynch in Chicago. He is a graduate of Michigan State University.
John R. Konkle, First Vice President/Lending Officer
Konkle has more than 30 years of financial industry expertise, including correspondent banking and commercial and agricultural lending. He held management positions with Independent Bankers’ Bank, JP Morgan Chase, American Fletcher National Bank and Trust Company and Irwin Union Bank and Trust Company, all in Indiana. He holds an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Linda Lease, Assistant Vice President/Senior Credit Analyst
Lease brings to her role several years of experience as a credit analyst and commercial lender, serving a diverse mix of business borrowers in Michigan and Indiana. She earned a business degree from Central Michigan University.
David Lawrence, Credit Analyst
Lawrence brings knowledge of Illinois’ commercial real estate market, commercial and industrial lending, and credit risk management to his position. A graduate of the University of Miami, he previously worked for Independent Bankers’ Bank and ABN Amro-La Salle Bank.
Marlene Luther — Vice President
Luther brings to her role significant experience in helping Illinois bankers with their correspondent banking needs, most notably image cash letter and merchant capture solutions. Prior to joining IBB in 1999, she was employed at Bank of America in fixed income investments. Luther is a graduate of St. Louis Community College with a degree in Accounting.
Mark R. Wade — Vice President
Wade brings to his role thorough knowledge of Indiana banks, a market he began serving 25 years ago. He has managed account relationships in a variety of correspondent banking services, including cash letter processing, cash management, lending, safekeeping, remote merchant capture, and international cash services. Prior to IBB, Wade was employed at Bankers Systems Inc. and Equitable (Axa) Insurance. He holds a master’s degree from Indiana University.
