Thomas Papenthien, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bankers’ Bank, announced his retirement at the Wednesday, January 28, Board of Directors meeting. Tom has worked at Bankers’ Bank since 1992 in various roles, having most recently served as President and CEO beginning in 2011. The Board as well as the Bank staff appreciate Tom’s many contributions and wish him a happy retirement. The Board is working to name his permanent replacement.
Edith Tholo will serve in the interim as the Bank’s President and CEO. Edie began her banking career in 1971 and has been with Bankers’ Bank since shortly after its establishment in 1981. She is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking - Madison, Wisconsin, and strongly believes in community banking as a key part of the overall well being of the financial services industry.
